about SZPM
Slovak association of dairy farmers (SZPM) is presently the youngest association in the Slovak agriculture sector. It was founded in November 2003 and from February 2004 is registered by Ministry of Inner Affairs as nonprofit, nonpolitical, public and profession-orientated association of physical and corporate bodies who are focusing on dairy production of raw cow milk and on trade activities.
Representation
SZPM is member of Slovak Agricultural and Food Chamber and it has representation in Commission for Milk and Dairy Products under Ministry of Agriculture. It has representation in working team for milk and dairy products in the frame of COPA/COGECA in Brussels as well as in Advisory Committee for milk in the frame of European Commission.
Milk Production
Production of SZPM milk producers represents 61% of general Slovak milk production. Our national quota for the year 2010/11 is 1 082 942 tons.
